Order Processing Specialist (Seasonal)

In accordance with company money handling procedures, this position is responsible for safeguarding and properly handling money as they check-in money bags, process and record payments and operate designated equipment.  

Pay rate offered: $15.50/hour

What You’ll Do Here:  

• Specialists handle cash/check payments, including receiving, tracking through a check-in process, opening of mail, extraction of payments, reviewing and recording variances, deposit preparation, check scanning, documentation and web-cash posting. Ensures efficient and accurate processing or all monies.
• Counts coin and currency and scans checks through use of specialized equipment.
• Prepares Deposits and related deposit tickets for the bank
• Reports tamper bag receipt errors and training opportunities to Cash Operations Hub Lead.
• Documents variances and discrepancies.
• Adheres to all Company cash Handling and PCI policies
• Bundling checks and cash, placing the bundles into the appropriate money bags, and securing and organizing money bags in appropriate locations (i.e. Vaults).. 
• Providing clerical support necessary including computer knowledge and use, typing, filing, boxing, photo copying.
• Demonstrates care and concern for the safety and health of self and others by promoting and modeling all safety rules and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Skills You’ll Bring:  

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proven payment processing experience -1 to 2 years preferred
• Proven computer skills including using spreadsheet applications, word processing and some form of database.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
