Maintenance Electrician A

Position Summary: The Maintenance Electrician, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, minimizing downtime, managing equipment startup and shutdown, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company safety policies
- Maintain and upkeep plant equipment and facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair all plant equipment
- Complete assigned work in a timely manner
- Actively participate in the emergency response team
- Work effectively both in a team and independently
- Utilize analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Use the onsite Preventative Maintenance EAM program with a provided tablet
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Electrician ticket licensed in Alberta (required)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLC programming, and troubleshooting
- Current knowledge of and adherence to the Canadian Electrical Code
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance
Preferred Experience:
- Industrial electrical equipment installation and troubleshooting
