Maintenance Electrician A

Arconic is currently in search of a Maintenance Electrician to join our team based in Lethbridge.

Position Summary: The Maintenance Electrician, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, minimizing downtime, managing equipment startup and shutdown, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all company safety policies
• Maintain and upkeep plant equipment and facilities
• Troubleshoot and repair all plant equipment
• Complete assigned work in a timely manner
• Actively participate in the emergency response team
• Work effectively both in a team and independently
• Utilize analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Use the onsite Preventative Maintenance EAM program with a provided tablet
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Electrician ticket licensed in Alberta (required)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLC programming, and troubleshooting
• Current knowledge of and adherence to the Canadian Electrical Code
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance

Preferred Experience:

• Industrial electrical equipment installation and troubleshooting
