Treasury Capital Markets Manager

Purpose:

Accountabilities:

  • Assist the VP, Treasury to set the issuance strategy, analyze and monitor the weekly Funding Agreement Backed Notes pricing model, and coordinate with the Risk team and Portfolio Managers on the execution of hedges for Funding Agreement transactions and with the Asset Liability Management (ALM) team to assess ALM considerations related to issuances and maturities of deals.
  • Develop and analyze high-level spreadsheets and database reports to monitor Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) capacity generation and collateral tracking.
  • Perform quarterly reviews across all asset types and prepare quarterly 10K/Qs FHLB disclosure reports.
  • Analyze business needs and continue to manage, modify, customize, and troubleshoot the company's operational data system to fit business needs and ensure efficiency and accuracy in processing FA and HoldCo transactions.
  • Support all aspects of growing, maintaining, and managing the company's Funding Agreement Channel including creating and maintaining up-to-date marketing presentations and materials, managing the investor database, and preparing investor profiles, performance reports, agendas, bios, and any additional briefing documentation required in advance of investor meetings.
  • Assist the VP, Treasury in conducting ongoing monitoring and analysis of the company's spread performance relative to peers and benchmarks.
  • In partnership with the Treasury team, cultivate and manage banking relationships.
  • Develop and perform analysis on the company's overall bank fee spend.
  • Work with the Legal and Treasury teams on the renewal of credit facilities.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Math, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field plus 5 years of experience as a Treasury Capital Markets Manager, Treasury Analyst, Accountant, Consultant, or similar duties under a different job title. Employer will accept as a foreign equivalent a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting.
  • Five (5) years of experience using advanced Microsoft Office applications, including developing formulas and modeling in Excel and performing with liquidity management and cash forecasting.
  • Three (3) years of experience with: interfacing with derivative/hedging team for deal issuances and/or settlements; Kyriba Treasury Management Systems, including Cash & Liquidity, Financial Transactions, and Accounting (R12 Oracle) modules.
  • Two (2) years of experience with: Bloomberg or equivalent; capital markets transactions including senior unsecured debt and hybrid capital; analyzing financial markets, including Debt Capital markets, banking products, and financial instruments.
  • One (1) year with: S&P Ipreo CRM software or equivalent, corporate credit and structuring the issuance of credit securities; interpreting spread performance of various financial instruments such as bonds or capital market trends; creating investor marketing materials or board – level reports in MS PowerPoint;  interfacing with an Asset Liability Management (ALM) team for deal issuances and/or maturities; collaborating on cross-functional to support capital market activities and 10K/Qs disclosure reports; and Funding Agreement Backed Notes (FABNs), Secured Funding Agreement, and Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) issuances/borrowing.

LOCATION: El Segundo, CA with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week

WAGE RANGE: $139,339 to $139,339/year
