Sr. Engineer

Job title:  Sr, Engineer

Job function and sub function: Quality Assurance – Customer Quality Engineer & New Project Engineer.

Reports to (role): QA Head

Team size (Direct and total): 2Nos

Works closely with: Customer,Process Quality & CFT team

Location: Chakan

Key responsibilities:

1. Monitoring Customer Complaint , Warranty Concerns, Rejection, Delivery, Audit Status, Customer Score Card.
2. PPAP with customer & Observation closer with CFT
3. internal Scrap analysis & scrap cost  Reduction
4. Customer Issue Resolving through 4M Methodology,8D, Why-Why Analysis,7QC Tools
5. Permanent corrective action verification & its Validation plan of Customer Complaints & Line Complaints
6. for IATF Audit 16949, System audit, product audit, process audit ,customer audits
7. Design Feasibility as per GD&T. Verification of gauges.
8. controlling process through PFMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, WI, SOP, CTQ List Characteristic etc
9. Resolve internal issues and customer PPAP & NC Closer
10. Work closely with suppliers Development for VA & VE projects to reduce part cost and enhance quality.
11. Interacting closely with customer, manufacturing, SDE, operations & engineering team for finalizing engineering PI changes for betterment of Quality.
12. knowledge of Co -ordinate measuring(CMM) for Dimensional Verification.
13. Zero IPTV Millstone Plan  and its  effectiveness
14. Maintaining BOS as per KPI

Ideal candidate experience:

B.E .Mechanical – 8Min .year experience /DME- 10 years’ experience

Skills and capabilities (leadership and/or functional): 

Good MS office knowledge-Excel & Power point , Good communication Skill, Knowledge – Process audit ,product audit ,QMS-IATF knowledge , 7QC Tools , SRM Portal ,PLM.
