Sr Product Designer - Commerce Hubs
Yahoo is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented product designer to help create the future of shopping on Yahoo's web properties. As a Senior Product Designer in the Platforms Design team, you will take lead on key projects as we evolve and expand Yahoo Commerce websites into new categories, using user insights and strategic thinking to design intuitive, accessible and brand-forward experiences for millions of Yahoo users and potential shoppers. You will work with other designers, Product Managers, Researchers, Engineers, and Content Strategists to deliver new features that help us grow the Yahoo Commerce footprint and drive business impact.
This role demands exceptional design craft, cross-functional collaboration, an obsession with quality and user needs, the ability to drive projects forward and a passion for solving complex user problems. Key Responsibilities:
As Sr Product Designer, you’ll be involved in the product development cycle from start to finish—from strategy development, to brainstorming, prototyping and shipping innovative designs that set new standards for the product.
Lead Design Initiatives: Take ownership of high-impact projects from ideation through prototyping, validation and delivery of product features, shaping the design and ensuring all work aligns with user needs and business goals.
Collaborative Design Process: Contribute to stakeholder discussions, design reviews, workshops, and other rituals to ensure alignment with product and engineering teams.
Quality and Craft: Maintain a high bar of quality by knowing what good looks like and consistently delivering top-notch designs and design artifacts.
Drive Work Forward: Proactively drive projects forward through design artifacts and processes, keeping work moving and contributing to high-velocity development.
User-Centered Design: Champion user-centric design principles and user experience research to ensure designs are grounded in real user needs and behavioral insights.
Innovation and Inspiration: Contribute fresh perspectives to continuously improve the design process, drive innovation and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Strategic Influence: Deliver innovative solutions to complex design challenges, contributing to the design vision and strategy for the Yahoo Commerce team.
Qualifications:
5+ years of product design experience.
A portfolio demonstrating high-quality design craft and a track record of delivering impactful product experiences that users love.
Strong knowledge of modern user experience design methodologies, principles, and frameworks
Experience working with qualitative and quantitative data to balance user needs and business objectives
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships across the organization
Experience designing Shopping or Commerce-related experiences a plus
Experience leading design projects with cross-functional partners
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

) page to learn more.The compensation for this position ranges from $128,250.00 - $266,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
