Product Designer, AOL
Position Overview
As an AOL Product Designer, you'll create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, working closely with senior designers and product leads. You'll collaborate with all functions within the product team, gaining critical experience from the entire product development process. This role is a fantastic opportunity to grow your design career by learning from experienced product and visual design professionals while contributing to the revitalization of an iconic internet brand. This position will report to the AOL Head of Design.
This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to collaborate with our fantastic teams in our Reston, VA office.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist design leads in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
Work closely with engineers throughout the design and development process to ensure the final product aligns with design specifications and maintains a beautiful and intuitive user experience.
Support the design team in iterating on designs based on user feedback and testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to ensure designs meet user and business needs.
Help maintain consistency across designs by following established design systems.
Participate in team discussions, offering input on design direction and brainstorming solutions.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience
Proficiency with Figma and its features for creating wireframes, prototypes, and design assets.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of design principles and a clear instinct for visual design.
A strong interest in UI/UX design and creating user-centered digital experiences.
Ability to work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from feedback.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present design work clearly.
Familiarity with basic design systems principles.

) page to learn more.The compensation for this position ranges from $88,500.00 - $184,375.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
