About the role:
As a Site Reliability Engineer on TD Synnex's Site Operations team, you will be part of a group that is intensely focused on our customers' experience and the health of our Digital Commerce solutions. Site Engineers will influence how code is deployed, configured, maintained and monitored.
Additionally, this role will require individuals to have a strong understanding and influence decision making to ensure positive outcomes around the availability, latency, change management, emergency response, and capacity management of services in production. This role provides the foundation for issue triage and speedy resolution with a continuous improvement mindset.
What you'll do:
Build and Maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure and support critical services ensuring SLA complaince.
Investigate alerts and and potential incidents using ITILv4 ensuring applications are resilient and secure.
Lead post-incident reviews, prioritize fixes, and enhance production support processes to implement automated, self-healing capabilities.
Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions (PagerDuty, Dynatrace, Graylog).
Develop patches or workarounds for critical issues and participate in on-call rotation for escalation support.
Coordinate change control processes and document impact and design.
What we're kindly looking for:
Proven experience in incident management, APM, and supporting critical services.
Proficient in software development such as C Sharp and scripting (PowerShell, Python) and database management (SQL Server, MariaDB, MongoDB).
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in REST APIs, JSON, and containerized solutions.
Familiarity with SOA, Web Services, and tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Application Insights.
Skilled in cloud-native infrastructure (Azure), Kubernetes, CI/CD (GIT, Azure DevOps), and performance tuning.
Strong Stakeholder Management and ability to lead discussions via critical thinking
