Solution Sales Specialist (M/L vacancy )
As the world’s largest IT distributor, our culture and work environment has very much a local Australian feel.
We now have a great opportunity for a Solution Sales Specialist to cover a ten (10) month maternity leave vacancy^.
Working closely with your colleagues, this role provides outstanding sales support and customer service to our customers and internal stakeholders through inbound and outbound telephone contact and via email. You need to be highly responsive to our customers from a customer service, technical and commercial perspective.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
providing quotes and sales order processing for products, services and renewals.
managing and growing the relationships for your assigned customers whilst working with your colleagues and internal teams,
being able to differentiate the value proposition of your assigned products and services through the ability to add value to your external customers;
Manage and action requests in alignment with SLAs.
Provide customers with information and guidance for solutions including cross selling and upselling.
Communication of freight, currency, payment terms and insurance with customers.
In time, you can expect to become an expert in the specifics of the product, technologies and customer portfolio you are assigned to, as well as having a broad understanding of the product lines and business units within Tech Data.
Training on our systems, processes, technologies and other relevant aspects of this role will be provided to the successful candidate.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a B2B sales environment particular IT sales is preferred but not essential.
Key for this role is to be a successful relationship individual who can communicate clearly, concisely and professionally and collaborate with a wide range of customers both on the phone and via email.
You will need to have excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience on CRM/ ERP systems such as Salesforce or SAP is highly advantageous for this role.
You'll need to be to be able to display your proactive customer service skills and be able to work autonomously.
