Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement commodity strategies to achieve corporate objectives, including supplier rationalization, cost management, and localization initiatives.

• Market Analysis: Monitor and communicate global business trends, supply market dynamics, and technological drivers to stakeholders.

• Supplier Engagement: Build strategic supplier partnerships, negotiate contracts, and resolve escalations to enhance supply chain reliability.

• Performance Optimization: Drive cost recovery initiatives, manage supplier scorecards, and oversee advanced technology procurement projects.

• Risk Mitigation: Identify and address supply risks, ensuring business continuity and financial stability within the supply chain.

• Advanced Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations, ensuring optimal outcomes for pricing, payment terms, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Management, or Logistics. A Master’s degree is a strong asset.

• Experience: in purchasing or materials management, preferably in high-volume manufacturing industries.

• Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

• Travel: Willingness to travel 30-60% of the time to suppliers and company facilities across EMEA.
