Cash Application Analyst - CCA

TD SYNNEX San José, San José Province (Onsite) Full-Time

Job Description:

The Cash Application Specialist for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate application of payments to customer accounts.

This position involves identifying payment discrepancies and making necessary adjustments to customer accounts.

The analyst will collaborate regularly with the credit and collections department to track and confirm payments that have not yet been allocated.

What You’ll Do:

  • Accurately post and allocate incoming payments to customer accounts. (60%)

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of direct debiting, ensuring compliance and accuracy. (8%)

  • Manage the complete reconciliation process for credit card transactions. (5%)

  • Handle the end-to-end processing of cheques and bills of exchange. (5%)

  • Address and resolve payment-related queries from customers and internal departments. (15%)

  • Reconcile incoming cash in transit accounts to ensure accuracy. (5%)

  • Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls related to cash applications. (2%)

What We’re Looking For:

  • No prior experience necessary.

  • Vocational training in Finance or Accounting is required.

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) required. [B1+]

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and seek clarification when needed.

  • Basic clerical and strong data entry skills are essential.

  • Competence in performing basic mathematical calculations.

  • Strong ability to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Clear communication skills to convey necessary information effectively.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on driving tasks to completion.

  • Ability to work constructively under pressure and manage high workloads and deadlines.

  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to remain immobile for extended periods.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with colleagues.

  • Quick learner of new systems and technologies.

  • Intermediate proficiency in relevant computer applications.

Working Conditions:

  • Professional environment (Remote).

  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

  • Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
