You are an ethical, brilliant, hard-working student, who gets along well with others, and is pragmatic yet idealistic enough to believe that you can change the world. This role will work directly with attorneys and paraprofessionals across all areas of the team to provide legal research and project support, gaining exposure to a wide range of issues across the Yahoo business.
Responsibilities
Perform legal and policy research and summarize the results in a clear and easily digestible fashion
Create and update internal training materials
Assist with ad hoc projects
Required Qualifications:
Actively enrolled in law school, with a strong record of achievement
Able to complete a 8-12 week full time (40 hr a week) internship
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented and a critical thinker
Able to develop strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholder
Able to work under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously
Keen knowledge and interest in consumer protection, media, and technology issues
