Maintenance Lead Night Shift $33.83-$39.63

Arconic Cranberry Township, PA (Onsite) Full-Time

$33.83 - $39.63 per hour depending on experience. $1,000 Signing bonus!! 

Arconic is currently in search of a night shift Electro-Mech Leader to join our Cranberry Township, PA. location. This position works a 12-hour shift (6p - 6a) on a 2/3/2 pattern.

Definition:

Responsible for ensuring that proper maintenance is performed for the facilities' machinery to run at maximum efficiency and output. This includes the planning and resourcing of preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance and maintenance shutdown overhauls of mechanical, electrical, environmental, chemical systems and PLC controls, through people management and technical ability. Must act independently and work closely with management to achieve the maintenance department goals. 

Responsibilities:

Safety

• Responsible for the safety of self and individuals on the team and that of those impacted by any maintenance activity. Support and comply with the Health & Safety regulations, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures

Leadership

• Assist in running an efficient maintenance operation, provide feedback to the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, support and implement continuous improvement activities.  Document breakdowns, identifying root cause and remedial action to help identify and resolve recurring issues.  Control and organize the team’s daily work schedule, monitor the completion of tasks.

Technical

• Provide technical expertise to the team. Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, environmental, chemical and PLC control systems and equipment. Apply specific technical skills as required to perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability. Ability to read drawings required, and ability to utilize PLC program logic for troubleshooting preferred.  Manage maintenance projects performed by maintenance team or contractors.

Skills and Attributes: 

• Undertake continuous training and development for self and team, be confident, rounded thinker, optimistic and open to change. Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.  Ability to communicate with clarity, both verbally and in written form.  Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time.  Practical hands-on approach to problem solving.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States of America. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
  • Industrial Maintenance Technical degree and/or 10 years' industrial maintenance experience, aluminum extrusion experience is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical machinery, electrical power and controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and chemical pumping systems.
