Join Us as an Associate Data Engineer!
Are you eager to learn, passionate about data engineering, and excited to work with cutting-edge technologies? We’re looking for aspiring data engineers to join our team and grow their skills while contributing to impactful projects.
This is an entry-level position, perfect for recent graduates or those with foundational experience in data engineering. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to address real-world challenges in enterprise-level data systems. You’ll gain practical experience in building and optimizing scalable, high-performance software that powers our e-commerce operations.
[Responsibilities]
Develop and maintain data systems on Linux-based platforms.
Write and optimize Python code to process and analyze large datasets.
Design, manage, and optimize OLTP databases, such as SQL Server or MySQL, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data systems to support real-time operations.
Contribute to web development tasks and system architecture design.
Support all project phases, including design, implementation, testing, and release (CI/CD).
Learn and assist with cloud-based tasks (e.g., AWS, RDS, EC2) under the guidance of senior engineers.
[Minimum Qualifications]
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Familiarity with SQL, Python, and scripting languages.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Enthusiasm for learning and developing technical skills.
[Preferred Qualifications]
Familiarity with OLTP systems and basic database optimization techniques.
Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Experience using version control tools like GitHub.
Interest in distributed systems and large-scale data processing.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to troubleshoot system issues with guidance.
Participation in design discussions and code reviews, with opportunities for growth.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
