Hospitality Inside Account Manager

TD SYNNEX San José, San José Province (Onsite) Full-Time

As a Hospitality Inside Account Manager you will serve as the primary point of contact for designated accounts, proactively driving revenue and profit margins to ensure organizational success through the development and implementation of tailored client solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

  • Proactively manage accounts to evaluate product mix, profitability, and align with TD SYNNEX- Shyft Global Services profitability objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to sell the full portfolio of TD SYNNEX- Shyft Global Services products and services.
  • Develop and present strategic business plans to TD SYNNEX- Shyft Global Services management, demonstrating detailed account knowledge.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, fostering collaboration with supporting departments.

    Handle advanced inbound and outbound sales calls, quoting prices, providing product information, and building customer relationships.

  • Assist team members in resolving complex customer issues, ensuring a high level of service.

    Collaborate with resellers to secure competitive pricing and inform partners of vendor promotions and initiatives.

  • Identify, develop, and implement business opportunities through proactive customer engagement.
  • Represent TD SYNNEX- Shyft Global Services professionally at business partner events and in daily interactions with customers and stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned while maintaining attendance and punctuality standards.

  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically, identifying needs and opportunities, and developing actionable plans to address them.
  • Ability to assimilate research data from various sources, analyze findings.
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant computer applications, including spreadsheets, word processors, and databases.
  • Ability to avoid win/loss situations and ensure productive conflict resolutions.
  • Proficient in sorting through numerical information to recognize trends and details.
  • Effective interaction with all levels of management and the ability to facilitate group interactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to promote ideas persuasively and close transactions for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Willingness to lead, innovate, and assertively guide others in skill development.
  • Work constructively under stress and pressure, particularly when faced with high workloads and tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on driving tasks to completion.
  • Capable of analyzing and resolving complex issues in a sound and timely manner.

Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 2-3 years’ experience
  • 100% proficiency in English
  • Availability to travel
  • Experience in the Sales industry is a plus.
