Maintenance Inventory/Reliability Technologist

Primary Responsibilities 
  • Create and manage Standard Task Instructions for maintenance activities
  • Assist with auditing and updating the preventative maintenance system for the facility
  • Assist with root cause analysis for breakdowns, and KPI monitoring
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Generating, updating, and tracking purchase orders
  • Control of inventory parts (ensuring all parts are logged and controlled in maintenance work order database (EAM), cycle counts, replacement, and organization of incoming parts). 
  • Responsible for spare parts inventory management including accurate and up to date cost information, stock levels, vendor information etc.
  • Support Maintenance Supervisor and Planner on the control of parts inventory to meet CMMS and plant operational requirements.
  • Ensure fixed capital asset listing is accurate, up to date, and meets required financial requirements
Basic Qualifications 
  • Advanced skill level in Windows and MS Office Suite. 
  • Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations is required. 
  • Requires high energy and focused planning and organizing skills. 
  • Must have strong team-building skills and the ability to facilitate team-based initiatives. 
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, business process improvement knowledge, and the ability to train others with diverse backgrounds and education levels.
  • Self-motivated, people-oriented, service-oriented, and able to work with all levels in the organization.

Preferred Qualifications 
  • Journeymen Parts Technician
  • Technologist Diploma/degree (with 2+ years of experience) – Education and experience in Mechanical Engineering are preferred 
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus in metal fabrication.
