Director, Sales Narratives + Market Insights
We are seeking a Sales Narratives and Insights Manager to join our team and play a critical role in supporting our direct sales force to drive revenue and growth. You will be responsible for developing go-to-market positioning and client-vertical narratives for Yahoo Ads’ suite of products. This role requires close collaboration with sales, client services, research, and product teams to ensure Yahoo has a compelling stance in the market. A strong aptitude for storytelling, teamwork, adaptability, and a solid understanding of digital advertising is essential.
Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth through impactful client pitches, insights, and industry thought leadership.
Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
Align market trends with strategic initiatives for pipeline generation and sales enablement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to create high-impact marketing materials and presentations, supporting sales efforts across multiple channels.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to partners and stakeholders based on market trends and opportunities.
Partner with our Research Leads to derive actionable insights from diverse sources.
Spearhead the creation of C-Level narratives and industry-specific use cases for customer events and thought leadership initiatives.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or brand storytelling, with at least 3 years focused on sales enablement, insights, and go-to-market strategies.
Proven ability to drive revenue through innovative storytelling and data-driven insights.
Strong executive presence and experience in developing and presenting C-Level narratives.
Expertise in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and aligning market trends with business initiatives and sales initiatives.
Ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to create high-impact marketing materials and presentations.
Experience in aligning sales strategies with product and market trends.
Skilled in market research, competitive analysis, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling client pitches, industry thought leadership, and customer use cases tailored to diverse audiences, including C-Level executives.
Creative mindset with a passion for developing impactful brand stories and industry thought leadership.

) page to learn more.The compensation for this position ranges from $129,210.00 - $281,305.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
