Global AR Snr Manager

Ready to make a significant impact? Join our team in Bucharest as Global AR Manager and take the opportunity to manage the Accounts Receivable function Globally. Your goal will be to maximize cash flow, minimize credit risk, and drive process and efficiency enhancement throughout the region. 

What will you do:

• Responsible for global accounts receivable and all aspects of the A/R process: Cash Application, Dispute Management, Credit & Collections, Reporting and Accounting/control. 

• Manage the Accounts Receivable team.

• Ensure Tenneco global credit policy compliance.

• Lead process and policy improvements to enhance A/R management efficiency and effectiveness.

• Ensure that teams and business units control past dues and maintain DSO at acceptable levels.

• Serve as key decision making authority relative to payment terms, credit limit, and other credit risks. 

• Provide reporting and guidance to senior leadership on credit, collections, and AR matters.

• Ensure the development of team members

• Coordination with Global Process Leader to ensure global consistency. 

• Regional/global travel as required.

What will make you successful 

• Bachelors in Business, Finance, or related Field; Master’s in Business is a plus

• 5 – 10 years experience of credit, collections and accounts receivable management experience

• Previous experience in Project management

• Previous experience managing a global team

• Strong leadership, presentation, and personnel management skills

• Comfortable working with senior leadership and customer

• Experience working with third party shared service providers a plus
