Payment Desk Analyst
Job Purpose:
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? As a Payments Desk Analyst at TD SYNNEX, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless execution of payments while upholding our commitment to excellence and compliance. This pivotal role involves conducting deviation analysis and cash flow forecasting, making it essential for candidates to be organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing payment workflows.
Accountabilities:
- Payment Processing: Oversee the entire payment process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in disbursements to our valued vendors, employees, and service providers.
- Records Maintenance: Keep comprehensive records of all payments and transactions, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to outstanding payments, incorrect amounts, or delays, collaborating effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Cash Flow Forecasting: Prepare insightful daily and weekly cash flow forecasts, providing detailed deviation analysis to identify and address variances.
- Compliance & Controls: Assist in the preparation of reports related to internal controls, including audits focused on payment processing and cash management.
- Collaboration: Partner with various departments to ensure smooth payment processes that align with our business objectives.
- Transitory Account Reconciliation: Monitor and follow up on the clearance of transitory accounts, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.
- Month-End Closing & Reconciliation: Support the month-end closing process by ensuring accurate reconciliation and reporting of bank balances.
What We’re Looking For:
We seek a candidate with studies or experience in Accounting, Finance, ADE, or a related field, along with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in payments, accounts payable, or financial operations—preferably in a corporate or multinational environment. You should have a strong level in accounting software (SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills, along with in-depth knowledge of payment processing systems, banking operations, and accounting principles.
Your excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines will set you apart. Additionally, strong communication skills are essential for professional interactions with internal stakeholders and external vendors. A proactive approach to problem-solving will be key in identifying and resolving issues effectively.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with international payment processing and foreign exchange transactions.
- Familiarity with electronic payment platforms or automation tools.

Payment Desk Analyst is responsible for timely payment preparation and execution following TD SYNNEX Control Policies.Reconciliation of operational and intercompany bank balances to the Ledger. Provide accurate and timely reporting of cashflow forecast along with deviation analysis when required.
