Pour and Debridge Operator
Arconic is currently in search of Pour & DeBridge Operator to join our Kawneer/Team in Visallia. The Pour & DeBridge Operator is responsible to sets up and assists in the operation of the special purpose machinery in the pour and debridge areas. $22.26/hour is base pay for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES included but not limited to the following.
- Adhere to all Kawneer rules and regulations.
- Able to read work order and follow oral and written instructions.
- Able to identify material by part number and product finish.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, shelves and machinery by hand.
- Inspects extrusions for scratches, dents and quality.
- Sets-up and prepares aluminum material for pour and debridge process.
- Assists in testing mixture for pour machine and adjusts accordingly.
- Starts and sets-up pour machine, engages feed and assists in operation.
- Starts and sets-up Azon DeBridge machinery, engages feed and assists in operation.
- Starts and sets-up vinyl machine, engages feed and assists in operation.
- Knowledge and ability to follow the MDR scrap process.
- Utilizes JDE program to issue sales orders, back flush order, verify material, etc.
- Performs quality inspections throughout the entire pour and debridge process.
- Follow all chemical MSDS procedures.
- Maintains a clean work area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- One to six months related work experience is preferred.
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret documents such as, operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondents.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other employees and supervisors.
- Ability to count, to add, to subtract and to multiply simple numbers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with and respond to minor problems in standard work situations.
- Ability to obtain a mobile equipment license, fork lift certification, and electric pallet jack certification is preferred.
- Able to measure to 1/32 of an each.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to repetitively lift up to 40 pounds or 1/3 of your body weight.
- Able to work 12 hour days.
- Able to wear required PPE.
- Able to bend and twist repetitively.
