  • The role is responsible for managing the merchandising strategy for our Underclass, Preschool and Sports business lines at Lifetouch


  • Develop and align with key internal stakeholders the seasonal merchandising strategy on product and packaging for the business lines
  • Prioritize and project manage seasonal merchandizing tests to optimize AOV and drive incremental participation metrics
  • Manage key seasonal readiness initiatives to develop the go-to-market strategy to maximize value to our customers and channel teams while minimizing cost and expenses.
  • Measure, track and report key merchandising metrics and initiative results within the Organization
  • Write business plans identifying objectives, strategies, key initiatives, dependencies, and performance measurements aligned with growth targets and cost savings
  • Interpret market research and merchandising performance measurement data - convert into proposed product improvements and advancements
  • Lead cross-functional projects and be able to influence teammates, outside of direct reporting structures, to deliver on-time and quality work
  • Manage relationships with third party vendors, suppliers, and partners
  • Determine financial feasibility of new growth opportunities by utilizing P&L analysis
  • Determine financial attractiveness of new growth areas to prioritize allocation of resources to these opportunities
  • Contribute to activating and training sales professionals on seasonal merchandising product and pricing
  • Other projects and duties as assigned


  • Education: Four year degree in marketing or related business degree. MBA a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of merchandizing strategy experience within large organizations.
  • The ability to analyze data and think creatively to develop sound recommendations and solutions to achieve strategic business goals
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments
  • Adept in anticipating, assessing, and translating customer needs into actionable tactics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient at interpreting and applying key analytical findings to support major merchandising strategy decisions
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience in development and delivery of presentations to a variety of internal audiences: peers, leadership and field offices
  • Knowledge of and the ability to lead merchandising test projects to refine and optimize the pricing and packaging for our business lines
  • Experience with financial budgeting, tracking, and reporting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the year
