Promotes and provides pharmaceutical care by participating in clinical activities.
Minimum Education: Must be enrolled in or be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited advanced pharmacy degree program in the United States.
Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications: All residents must be licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of New Mexico within 90 days of beginning their program. Resident who are not license within 90 day will be dismissed from the program. Residents are required to obtain New Mexico Intern License to cover the time from beginning their residency until they can be fully licensed as a Pharmacist.
Minimum Work Experience
Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
