Machine Operator - Night Shift

Arconic Eastman, GA (Onsite) Full-Time

We have an opening for a Machine Operator to work night shift from 7pm - 7am. The position will work a 12 hour shift up to 4 days per week. 

Major activities/Key accountabilities:

  • Counts and measures product to be packed for customer order compliance
  • Visual inspection of product for defects
  • Loads and unloads finished/packaged product
  • Packages finished product
  • Assists team with machine and product changeovers
  • Assists with product setups
  • Ability to read and understand terminology on required paperwork
  • Completes checklists, reports and logs as needed
  • Adheres to housekeeping requirements for work area
  • Ability to make verbal or written suggestions/recommendations to management for improvements in work methods and/or safety procedures as needed
  • Ability and willingness to adheres to AAP policy and safety rules, regulations and procedures, in a fast-paced production environment
  • Understands Teamwork Concept (Group of employees with a common goal/goals and ownership of shared responsibility to achieve set goal/goals)
  • Training includes procedures, instructions, on the job training and shadowing incumbent operators
  • Positive attitude
  • Basic Computer skills

Basic Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED Required
  • 1 year prior work experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Forklift Experience and Willingness to operate Forklifts
  • 3+ Years in Manufacturing / Warehouse Environment 
  • GA Work Ready Certification
