The Texas Tech Club is dedicated to the development of industry talent across departments, including Culinary, Restaurant, and Banquet.
Food & Beverage Intern – Focuses on learning the roles of each front-of-house position in the Restaurant, including Busser, Food Runner, Expeditor, Server, and Bartender. Assists in the daily food and beverage operations in each position to thoroughly learn à la carte and banquet service. Internship progresses to shadowing front-of-house managers to learn the basics of floor management.
Candidate Qualifications
A team player who is service-oriented with a strong work ethic
Professional, enthusiastic and a positive attitude
Eager to learn and adapt to new job tasks as well as the ability to multi-task
Proactive in individual and group task settings
Excellent communication skills
Educational Requirements
Actively pursuing a collegiate degree in Hospitality Management
