Job Purpose:  

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT distribution and experience managing vendor relationships. This role is critical in optimizing and expanding our vendor partnerships and ensuring we deliver top-quality products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, industry activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategies.

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and business development performance.

  • Analyse sales and financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners.

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to expand our product portfolio and meet market demands.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key vendor accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Contract and Performance Management:

  • Negotiate vendor contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure favorable conditions for the company.

  • Monitor contract compliance and manage renewals, amendments, and terminations.

  • Track vendor performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors to drive continuous improvement.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including category management, procurement, country sales, marketing, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless integration of vendor products and services.

Issue Resolution:

  • Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and effective manner.

  • Ensure prompt resolution of product or service-related problems to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, category management, business development, sales, or a related role within the IT distribution industry.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Strong understanding of IT products, solutions, and the distribution market.

  • Full business proficiency in English.
