The Warehouse Lead will need to have experience with SAP and/or other ERP system.  

                                                                                                         

Job Summary

Perform variety of duties in the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Accounts for all materials and supplies; audits goods received into warehouse. Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Order picking -- handling the receipt, movement, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Processing, packaging, shipping and/or storing supplies, materials.
  • Accounting for all materials and supplies by auditing goods received into warehouse.
  • Operating a forklift and pallet jack, as needed.
  • Following the required operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of the facility and equipment.
  • Bringing high energy and attention to detail to maintain quality, productivity, and accuracy.
  • Always following safety policies and protocols.
  • Order trucks for deliveries to the service center and outside process vendors.
  • Resolve transaction issues on SAP, investigate traceability, validate documentation, and address receiving discrepancies.
  • Notify corresponding departments about delivery block issues on Sales Orders and routing errors on Work Orders.
  • Review and Process Non-Conformance Report assigned tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • The ability to lift 50 pounds of weight using proper lifting or team-lift techniques.
  • Experience using a forklift and/or pallet jack preferred; ability to pass forklift training required.
  • Good communication skills to interact with multiple levels and titles, and internal and external contacts.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills.
  • A solid work ethic including reliability.
  • Self-motivated and has the ability to get things done by motivating others.
  • Ability to improve KU processes and inventory accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and can work independently to research issues and resolve discrepancies.
  • Proven Safety and Attendance Record.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver on time under pressure.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.

 

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3-5 years of warehouse experience including most or all of the following:
  • Shipping and receiving.
    • Picking and packing (order picking).
    • Loading and unloading.
  • Lead experience a plus.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  •       Experienced with Materials Handling.

  •       Computer inventory experience preferred.

  •       Cycle count experience preferred.

  •       RF Scanner experience preferred.
