European Treasury provides financing and cash management services in multiple currencies to Arconic plants and offices in several European countries.
How your typical day would go:
- Bank account reconciliation, financial companies' bank account reconciliation.
- Interface Quantum (Treasury Management System) data to Oracle General Ledger.
- Perform the accounting activities of treasury sub ledger including reconciliation.
- Create support documentations for Treasury account reconciliation in RST system, upload ledger differences.
- Monthly closing and reconciliation activities for entities handled by Treasury
- Manage Arconic intercompany compensation process in Netting Center.
- Maintenance of Netting Center and Quantum (TMS).
- Quantum static data setup and maintenance.
- Problem solving with regards to all above listed activities.
- Reporting for EUR, Asian and NAM Treasury/Location.
- Support ASAT completion.
We will like you if you have:
- Previous comprehensive accounting experience, minimum 3 years (at treasury or general ledger is advantage)
- Finance or accounting degree certification
- Experience with main accounting activities (account reconciliation is a must, intercompany compensation is advantage))
- Practical knowledge of accounting and/or treasury systems (Oracle and/or Quantum is advantage)
- Analytical thinking and process focus
- Upper-intermediate level of English
- Microsoft Office experience (especially Excel)
- Ability to work in a team
