Job Description

The swim team coach is responsible for coaching the Club's children's swim team (June-July), and may also offer individual swim lessons for Members throughout the summer, while ensuring a safe and fun environment that exceeds the Members expectations.

• Prepare and execute daily swim practice plans aimed at developing the swim strokes and swim skills of the children on the swim team
• Work with the Swim Team Coordinator to establish meet line ups
• Attend and run daily swim practices, league dual meets, and league championship event 
• Assist with the setup of the pool for swim practices and home swim meets
• Respond to parent inquiries and/or concerns about the development of their child's swim skills
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and service that aligns with the values, philosophies and standards of the club.

• Must have a background of 3 to 4 years of competitive swimming or be a certified swim coach
• Available to work every Mon through Fri morning from June 13 through July 29, and on July 30
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is desired but not required depending on competitive swimming and/or coaching experience
