Support Center - Irving

Michaels is looking for a hands-on Senior Technical Product Manager/ Senior Technical Project Manager, that will be a key part of the delivery team implementing a new OSS based integration solution that powers our systems.

In this role, you

  • Will lead Delivery of this Solution from initial situation assessment through operationalization
  • Will Work closely with an integration architect to develop the functional , technical and delivery roadmap
  • Will plan delivery phases/gates, resources , timelines, engage and lead teams (run JAD sessions, kickoffs, steering committee, and executive reporting)
  • Be an influential cross functional leader, able to communicate to various internal personas (business stakeholders, Technology leadership, Technology peers, Architects, Engineers, Technology operations teams)
  • Will help structure and track the work, manage technical + deliver risks, to ensure the initiative stays on track (timeline and budget wise) 
  • Are very structured and organized
  • Will facilitate and set up cadence and communication plan)
  • Define and establish scope, milestone, cost plan and success criteria for the program

You have

  • 10+ years of progressive Engineering/Project/Delivery management experience
  • Led complex multi-month/multi-year projects’ delivery idea through operationalization
  • experience in project management (agile or waterfall)
  • Are hands-on and detail oriented on when leading delivery
  • Handled multiple stakeholders (engineers, testers, change control, technology operations, product managers, business stakeholders)
  • Have handled dynamic prioritization , have stayed and steered the course on your deliverables in such an environment
  • Have handled delivery for a team, covering multiple geographies and timezones

Possessing following expertise a strong plus

  • Good understanding of design patterns, Java and middleware technologies
  • Understand cutting edge technology and industry trends, OSS and Cloud technologies
  • Experience at technology driven enterprise
  • Experience in ecommerce/retail/omni-channel businesses

Minimum Education

  • B.S or B.A degree
  • Project Management and/or Agile certification

Following Education / Certification is a plus

  • B.S or BA in Technology related ( Computer Science, Electrical and Electrons Engineering) fields
