SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (O365)

Responsible for identifying and analyzing system requirements to develop detailed design specifications for data traffic and system enhancements to include designing, configuring, and maintaining system services within company infrastructure, monitoring the data communications to ensure system is available to all users

BASIC FUNCTION

  • Leads operational administration for the organization's messaging, collaboration and ticketing platforms
  • Manage software upgrades and installation of hotfixes, patches and service packs with minimal down time
  • Troubleshoot complex problems, develop documentation and technical procedures as necessary.
  • Respond to system outages and maintenance needs including off hours and weekends.
  • Resolves technical escalations and provides recommendations for performance improvements
  • Monitor systems performance and ensure availability and usability

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Worked at least 3 years as a Sr. Systems Administrator Required
  • Has set up an application platform from scratch and used on a production environment Needed
  • Performed application/software upgrades to production environment Needed
  • Has created technical documentation that the team uses on their day to day operations Needed
  • Engaged in troubleshooting on a bridge for an Incident Needed
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or other related courses.
  • At least 3 years of working experience as a Systems Administrator or in the similar field
  • Diverse range of technical skills including but not limited to Systems Administration.
  • Must be a team player and can work effectively with peers in resolving problems
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet hard deadlines
  • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Willing to work on the night shift
  • Experience in Windows Server Systems Administration (versions 2008 and higher) Core
  • Have worked as a Windows Systems Administrator for at least 1 year Core
  • Performed patching on a server Used any patching tools to perform patching (WSUS, SCCM, Altiris, BigFix, etc)
  • Performed troubleshooting on a server
  • Troubleshoot a complex problem and found the solution
  • Performed on-call duties
  • Taken the lead and worked on a project
  • Experienced working on the graveyard shift as a regular shift
  • Knowledge in Linux Systems Administration
  • Familiar with the ITIL process
  • Any IT Certifications earned
  • Experience in Application Support 
  • Good communication skills

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Aside from account management (adding/removing/disabling users), has knowledge and performed other tasks related to Active Directory (Group Policies, DNS, etc.)
  • Has a good understanding of networking, firewalls and load balancing (F5)
  • Knowledge in IIS 
  • Experience in administering and setting up monitors on monitoring tools (SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.)
  • Experience with administration of MS Exchange (versions 2010 and above)
  • Experience in Office 365 Administration for Exchange Online
  • Experience with administration of SharePoint (versions 2010 and above) 
  • Experience in Office 365 Administration for SharePoint Online
  • Troubleshoot a user access problem in Office 365
  • Knowledge and experience with PowerShell
  • Aside from Googling scripts and commands, able to write a PowerShell script on their own
  • Experience in Citrix administration (any versions)
