About the role\u00A0
Coordinates and implements assigned projects to achieve defined objectives. Serves as the overall project leader and driver and not the subject matter expert. Documents project objectives, creates the project plan and coordinates the project requirements for all of the relevant subject matter experts and other team members to ensure successful and timely completion of the project(s). Coordinates all communication, training and change management activities associated with the assigned projects. Leads large and strategic projects typically with budgets or financial impact exceeding $2 million.
What you'll do
Documents project objectives and ensures they meet expected business results/outcome.
Communicates with involved departments and management; facilitates communication forums including team meetings.
Creates project plans including: resource tracking, assignments, tasks, dependencies, deliverables and milestones, due dates, predecessors, budget and financial tracking, issues management.
Assembles project steering committee(s) and communicates regularly and effectively with management on project progress.
Coordinates project meetings with relevant team members.
Serves as single point of contact for all project management related questions and refers technical questions to appropriate subject matter experts and ensures timely follow up.
Facilitates change management activities.
Provides leadership of project teams and interdepartmental management to achieve project objectives.
Performs additional duties as assigned

What we're looking for
Minimum 7 years project management experience leading large multi-disciplined projects of a transformative nature
Experience in Retail and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) IT
Bilingual: English and French speaking and writing required
University Degree in Computer Science/Programming Specialties/Major Subjects
Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

Able to use relevant computer system applications (which may include spreadsheets, word processors, databases, etc) at an advanced level.
Experience working on teams including senior management
Experience in financial management/ budgeting including ROI analyses
Leadership experience
Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project)
Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma preferred*Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
