Support Center - Irving

The Sr. Application Developer will be responsible for design and development on Blue Yonder WMS. Must be able to work independently to function as a liaison between the business community and the technical community in support of development of code for the application. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into specific system requirements and providing technical knowledge, leadership, and support.

What You’ll Do

  • 4-6 years of Development experience with Blue Yonder WMS

  • Design application components based on requirement specifications.

  • Support analysis/design/development/testing/implementation of Blue Yonder WMS

  • Support offshore support team with escalated or critical incident resolution.

  • Participate in requirements discussions with business and suggest optimal and efficient technology solutions.

  • Develop application components as per design specifications.

  • Apply industry defined programming standards for development.

  • Develop high quality components using test driven development.

  • Document and execute any testing needed to ensure defect free deliverables.

  • Perform code reviews and guide other developers on best practices.

  • Version control and release management processes.

  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Provide L2/L3 support for his/her application.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Minimum Special Certifications or technical skills

  • Strong understanding of design principles.

  • Blue Yonder WMS 2019 & 2020+ Version

  • Strong expertise BY Integrator with other applications

  • Working on Integration with external vendors and MHE Systems.

  • Jasper Reporting

  • Label Designer

  • DDA (Data Driven Application)

  • Page Builder

  • MOCA Components

  • MTF

  • Warehouse Automation Applications (Pick-to-Light/Sorter/MHE systems)

  • Coordinating and administering Salesforce Cases with Blue Yonder Customer Support

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Is assertive, proactive, and self-directed.

  • Relational database experience with PL/SQL

  • Experience on UNIX/LINUX Platform

Preferred

  • Experience in Working BY TMS (Transport Management)

  • Experience in Red Prairie WMS

  • Radio Frequency (RF) devices and configuration

  • Automation Tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross functional teams.

  • Project management

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to achieve results on time.
