Job Description

Support Center - Irving

This position will support the Feature Space Planning process by assisting in store layout management by store type, managing merchant space submissions for specific merchandise locations, and manage the Late Freight process. In addition, this position will manage the store consolidation process.

Major Activities

Feature Space Planning Process

  • Assist in the Feature Space submissions process.
  • Manage End Cap and Power Panel rotations.
  • Assist in the creation of Seasonal Side Counter rotations.
  • Assist in auditing Feature Space plans to ensure accurate store assignments, visual planning, and store communications.
  • Create Consolidation strategies to ensure existing programs have designated homes in store and remain active on eCommerce.
  • Create Store Communications including monthly Feature Space Planner, weekly Workload Support Calendar, and Weekly Planning Kit responsibilities.
  • Manage merchant requested space changes
  • Manage Late Freight communications to Support Center Partners


Store Labor Allocation

  • Partner with Floor Planning to allocate labor needed for additional moves within the store outside of POG scope.
  • Review and align with the POG Production team to ensure proper workload is being allocated for POG activity.
  • Manages weekly labor forecasting to plan
     

Special Projects

  • Participates in departmental simplification projects like seasonal submissions, POG Governance, and IT rollouts.
  • Participates in company projects like prototype, remodel, or small format store rollouts.

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Minimum Education

  • Associate degree
     

Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills

  • MS Excel, Word, Access

Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires

  • 1-2 years experience in retail space planning

  • Alteryx
  • Tableau
