Job Description

Support Center - Irving

As the Associate Site Merchandiser, MakerPlace, this role will partner to scale MakerPlace from its nascency to a fully operating and optimized business unit. Because MakerPlace is still a startup, this role will be dynamic and evolve as the business unit matures & evolves. As such, a self-starter with comfort in ambiguity will thrive.

Major Activities

  • Help increase conversion and drive revenue by improving site merchandising strategies and supporting the content & merchandising team in the execution of approved marketing, promotional, and product launch strategies
  • Daily site maintenance and walkthrough to ensure proper linking, flag product sellout, etc.
  • Helps ensure content & merchandising tools are effective and efficient 
  • Assist content manager, site merchandising manager, and site merchandisers in product curation, page builds, and data reports 
  • Utilize data to inform cross-functional partners on trending search terms, keywords, traffic drivers, page performance, etc. 
  • Visual merchandising/curation of all content-driven PLPs
  • Collaborate with Growth team to identify gaps in the product assortment and win new potential sellers
  • Identify trend opportunities with content utilizing search data, top categories, etc.

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field required, or equivalent experience

Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills

  • Experience using reporting tools (SQL, Looker, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Suite applications

Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires

  • Entry Level: 0-2 years experience in site merchandising, ecommerce, business development, visual merchandising, or equivalent

Range 45,000.00 - 65,300.00 - 85,700.00 USD Annual
