Purpose:

We are looking for an energetic professional with a passion and expertise for administrative support to join our fast-paced Risk team. This role will support the Chief Risk Officer and direct reports with calendaring, travel, expense reimbursement, and other administrative duties. The role will also support additional projects for the overall administrative, operational, and strategic activities of the Risk team.


Accountabilities:

The Risk Sr. Executive Assistant will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer with responsibilities including:

  • Perform full administrative support for the Chief Risk Officer and senior leadership team
  • Exercise good judgment and discretion in identifying and safeguarding all matters of a confidential and highly sensitive nature
  • Serve as point-of-contact on behalf of covered professionals for internal and external constituents, including senior executives and board members
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for meetings, conferences, and off-sites, including committees and external parties
  • Assist in the generation and review of committee materials and decks
  • Take initiative with follow-ups on issues or correspondence to ensure that respective audiences are aware of current activities, updates, deadlines or information specific to their requests or projects/tasks
  • Responsible for all departmental communications (events, intranet, memos, etc.)
  • Support the budgeting process including appropriate planning and forecasting, budget to actuals analysis, accruals, cost center allocations, T&E, vendor expenses, etc.
  • Coordinate performance documentation and reviews; assist in the production of year end accomplishment memo
  • Utilize a variety of Microsoft applications to organize and maintain data, create presentations, and perform related miscellaneous projects
  • Coordinate domestic and international business travel arrangements including flights, lodging, car services/rental cars, conference registrations, dining reservations, etc.
  • Allocate and process expenses for professionals using Concur system
  • Support headcount management including coordination of all logistics for recruiting, headcount tracking and reporting, intern and graduate hire programs, etc.
  • Coordinate office transitions by facilitating logistics, communications and planning
  • Serve as primary point of contact for ensuring access to office and desk space, and maintaining and ordering supplies for the office
  • Perform other related general administrative tasks for professionals as assigned and required


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Five plus years of executive support experience is required, preferably in a money center bank, global insurer, nationally recognized law firm or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.  Concur a plus
  • Excellent business judgement and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rigorous work environment
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines and work effectively on multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities – must demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude towards given tasks, plan for potential issues, and take appropriate action
  • Strong communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to convey a broad array of information, issues and recommendations succinctly & accurately
  • Collaborative style and demonstrated success contributing to a team environment
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills necessary to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Role requires demonstrated poise and tact
  • Ability to think strategically and synthesize inputs quickly

70,960.00 - 106,440.00 USD Annual


Annual Salary for this role is market competitive.  Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.  Depending on the role, a discretionary bonus plan or variable sales incentive may be included.
