What You’ll Do Here:

• Purchase specified and special material requests as well as services in support of the Lifetouch Canada business unit.
• Product sourcing and vendor selection with focus on best value.
• Assist in the planning functions used to determine materials requirements for both field and production groups.
• Direct engagement with Lifetouch business partners to gain understanding of how Supply Chain can help in meeting their objectives.
• Communication with warehouse personnel to help ensure ongoing inventory reduction and accuracy.
• Maintenance of the Supply Chain department documentation files.
• Identify and implement appropriate cost saving measures.
• Execute RFP’s and RFQ’s as required.
• Manage supplier relationships and ratings for key vendors. Execute negotiations with vendors.

The Skills You’ll Bring:

• Minimum of three years experience in the area of Purchasing/Supply Chain is required with experience in the area of Customer Service an asset.
• Member of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (preferred).
• Computer literacy and proficiency in a Windows based environment is required.
• Working knowledge of PC applications such as Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Experience with an ERP system, SAP experience preferred.
• Good analytical skills for problem solving.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Superior negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
