Support Center - Irving

We have launched a world-class 3rd Party Marketplace for Maker-Sellers to learn, grow, connect, teach, and sell their handmade finished goods and services. This effort is a primary strategy to deliver a full transformation of the digital ecosystem for the company.

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for owning the operational components of MakerPlace’s growth efforts across Maker-Seller acquisition, onboarding, retention, and expansion. Because MakerPlace is still a startup, this role will be dynamic and evolve as the business unit matures & evolves. As such, a self-starter with comfort in ambiguity will thrive.

Major Activities

  • Establish the Salesforce Sales Cloud instance and build a solid foundation for effectively acquiring, onboarding, retaining, and expanding our Maker-Sellers
  • Work with stakeholders to define Salesforce requirements and customize the platform to improve user experience and automation
  • Integrate our Sales Cloud with third-party tools, other Salesforce instances owned by different parts of the Michaels business, and the MakerPlace platform to drive the success of the team
  • Define how the team operates from a Salesforce experience and reporting perspective
  • Stay current on how best to use Salesforce and run internal enablement sessions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partner teams, including Growth, Support, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams, to synthesize and report on the business' KPIs
  • Administer user access, rights, and security to Salesforce

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Degree in MIS, business, finance, engineering, marketing, or related field preferred

Special Certifications or Technical Skills

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • 3+ years of administering Salesforce for a rapidly scaling business, especially taking it from launch to maturing
  • Excellent Microsoft suite and analytics skills
