We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join the Renal/Nephrology Unit at St. Francis Hospital.

As part of the Renal/Nephrology Unit, the Registered Nurse will facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing for patients with kidney disease. This may include hemodialysis, transplantation, continuous renal replacement therapy. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for clearly communicating with the different shifts within the Renal Unit along with other departments to ensure continuity of care.

Job Requirements

Qualifications of the Renal Registered Nurse: 

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a direct care setting 

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current GA Registered Nurse license  

  • BLS certification 

  • Ability to earn ACLS certification within 6 months of hire. 

Preferred Skills of the Renal Registered Nurse: 

  • Basic computer skills 

  • Able to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
