What You’ll Do Here 
  • Partner closely with the Site Director, to ensure overall safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement goals are established, tracked, and attained thru continuous improvement activities and lean initiatives.
  • Partner closely with other site Manufacturing Leaders to develop staffing plans and manage daily cross site production goals that optimize efficiency while achieving quality, delivery, customer service, and budget expectations.
  • Partner closely with Quality, Safety, and Training teams to ensure customer quality and delivery expectations are consistently met
  • Provide leadership that drives positive employee engagement and teamwork across all Shutterfly production and related support activities.
  • Provide Shift Manager leadership support, ensuring performance expectations are developed collaboratively and well understood with timely performance feedback provided.
  • Lead by example and drive a culture of accountability.
  • Develop the technical skills, leadership skills, and business acumen of the Premanufacturing team.
The Skills You’ll Bring 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in high volume manufacturing utilizing state-of-the-art systems and processes, with minimum 5 years in a leadership capacity. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills utilizing an effective, hands-on, engaged employee approach.
  • Effective communication skills thru idea articulation, delegation, direction, and motivation across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience leading continuous process improvement initiatives while demonstrating effective decision-making using data driven approaches.
  • Proven skills in building strategy and leading projects thru critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
It is helpful, but not required to have 
  • Proven skills leading a large team with some seasonal labor requirements.
  • Lean certifications and/or experience leading a lean culture is helpful, but not required.
