Job Summary: Provides engineering support to the manufacturing processes and will design, install, and maintain production processes to fulfill customer requirements. Responsible for supporting of continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively participates on teams to provide improvements in Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

  • Fulfills process documentation requirements.

  • Works with Manufacturing Department to maintain efficient, capable processes.

  • Works on cost reduction projects to improve competitive position.

  • Performs job duties in line with company policies, procedures and work instructions pertaining to TS16949, ISO 14001 and Safety requirements.

  • Supports manufacturing to assure product quality through manufacturing processes.

  • Prepares reports as necessary to track cost reductions and/or manufacturing changes of process.

  • Analyzing production processes and methods and providing management with data and statistics to enable management to better understand requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Education / Experience

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering.

    Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate across various levels of the organization and effectively lead teams.

    Travel:

  • Travel in support of job function (plants, customers, suppliers, etc.)

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel.

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Vision abilities required include close vision.

  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud

  • Working in seasonally hot and cold environments
