This position reports directly to the HR Manager working in a service environment at our facility in Muncie, IN.  The primary focus of this role is to offer support to both exempt and non-exempt population in the facility.

You will be responsible for supporting and assisting as needed on the day-to-day operational activities. In addition to those listed below, partner on health & safety programs, handle digital electronic filing, and other facility operational activities. The role is also responsible for partnering with the HR Manager on projects to support facility activities. 

What You'll Do Here:

  • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly and yearly production reports for site director, production managers and shift managers
  • Oversee front lobby and reception area, greeting customers, vendors and guests to Lifetouch
  • Assist all employees as needed at the front office
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team to hire seasonal employees
  • Conduct new hire orientations for incoming employees
  • Manage security badges for site, including employees, visitors and vendors
  • Manage visitor log and proper sign in process for all visitors and vendors.
  • Manage the main phone line and employee call off line; routing calls and taking messages as necessary
  • Under the guidance of the HR Manager, communicate with employees regarding questions using fair and consistent application of the policies
  • Handle all day-to-day administrative activities
  • Manage conference room calendar
  • Support the HR Manager and Site Director as needed
  • Coordinate all employee events and activities including site wide meetings and meals
  • Effectively manage filing to be compliant with internal policies and state and federal requirements

The Skills You'll Bring:

  • 2 years + office administrative experience, preferably in manufacturing environment
  • Well organized, dedicated, reliable and flexible
  • Experience with employee relations
  • Experience with supporting a seasonal work force or temporary associates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Windows-based programs such as Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook is required. SharePoint experience a plus
  • Communicates effectively inside and outside the organization
  • A self-starter capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing
  • Experience with workforce management systems a plus
