Arconic is currently in search of Maintenance Supervisor to join our BCS Team in Springdale, Arkansas.

The Maintenance Supervisor located in Springdale, AR is responsible to maintain systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts; supervising staff.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage, supervise, and execute maintenance as well as related support activities for the site
  • Ensures compliance to company safety and security standards, procedures and policies.
  • Assist with site environmental conformance as well as hazardous material programs ensuring all Environmental, Health & Safety policies as related to the Maintenance Department
  • Support efforts to maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment. 
  • Conduct proper follow-through on all maintenance issues
  • Decide and deploy appropriate crewing arrangements for planned and unplanned situations based on absences, schedule requirements, equipment availability, and vacations
  • Identify and implementing improvement plans
  • Provide asset management in a cost-effective manner including proper equipment operations and world class equipment availability
  • Solve problems to the root cause and develop countermeasure plan to prevent or mitigate a recurrence
  • Effectively communicating with others within and outside the work group
  • Providing leadership, direction and motivation to people in the assigned area
  • Effectively manage employee day-to-day issues
  • Support the implementation of Arconic Business System initiatives (lean manufacturing) including 5S, standardized work, work balance, product flow and TPM improvements;
  • Other duties as assigned 

Maintenance Supervisor Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical degree 
  • 5 years or more experience in an industrial maintenance environment,
  • Previous supervision experience
  • Mechanical/Electrical Troubleshooting
  • Ability to provide effective leadership to a large group of employees over several shifts
