About the Role:

Provides full design, configuration, and support for complex data, voice, storage, and/or video networks, which will include contact center and network security technology.\u00A0 Demonstrates subject matter expertise in at least two of these disciplines to be able to handle all but the most challenging and unique questions and support issues in TD SYNNEX's complex global environment, while delivering exceptional responsiveness, quality and reliability.\u00A0 Makes effective use of all resources, including support contracts, to securely and effectively solve problems, and also provides technical guidance to more junior engineers.\u00A0 Proactively engages with vendors and partners to explore ways to further optimize TD SYNNEX network services for reliability, performance and efficiency on a global basis.\u00A0 Develops strategies to leverage new technologies and new approaches over the course of multiple quarters.\u00A0\u00A0

What You'll Do:

  • Designs, configures, and implements new and complex global network solutions to enable new business opportunities, support organic growth and M&A, and to implement and improve new application services.\u00A0 Solution components may include departmental switches, enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways, IP telephony, IVR, Automated Call Distribution (ACD), SD-WAN appliances, WAN accelerators, Load balancers, Zero Trust Network Architecture, and other network technologies.

  • Provides assistance as needed in troubleshooting intractable problems that impact broad customer access to revenue-generating applications and wide scale colleague access to systems used to run the company and support customers.

  • Ensures work is well-organized, and provides ongoing task tracking to ensure project deadlines are met.

  • Mentors and develops more junior engineers.

  • Updates documentation with new findings.

What We're Looking For:

  • 10 to 15 Years of relevant work experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree with Network Engineering or Related field of study required.

  • Other Education / Certifications: - Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Data Center, CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, CCIE Enterprise Wireless, CCIE Collaboration, Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), F5 (or other load balancer) Certified Solution Expert, SNIA Storage Networking Certificate.

  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.

  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.

  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.

  • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.

Working Conditions:
