What you'll do
Perform set-up, calibration and testing, computer assembly, component insertion, and software installation
Responsible for product hardware and software configuration work
Refurbish product including repack, reimage, dissemble, reassemble, and clean product
Test and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, monitor and computer related accessories
Assist in developing test specifications from outlined written requirements or procedures, blueprints, drawings and diagrams
Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems because of testing
Prepare technical reports
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized equipment and integration infostructure equipment such as servers
Assist with customer sales and technical support when required
Provide product specification, product configuration and details of service offerings to both internal associates and TD SYNNEX customers when required, review SOW (Statement of Work) to verify scope of work
Review configuration work quality and report quality specs and performance
Assist with bench repair work (repair PC, laptop, tablet & LCD monitor)
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
What we're looking for
2+ year related experience
Experience with electronics and computer related product and peripheral equipment
Assembling computer and configuration of peripheral equipment
College/University or equivalent certifications in computer and network related area is required
A+ certification is required.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP services, security fundamentals, automation, and programmability
Cisco networking Certifications is asset
Ability to complete the required technical training certification in order to get authorized as Service/Product test provider
Python coding is asset, be able to use Python or similar program language to handle project
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as Microsoft teams, SharePoint, one drive etc.
Be able to design complex report using Power BI and Excel
Knowledge of Microsoft Autopilot and Google ZTE
A working understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
Understand the distribution business structure and workflow, including integration solution, logistic, relationship with sales/customer etc.
Ability to read, comprehend and implement test procedures from written documentation
Ability to review test procedures and understand failure analysis
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 management system
Must be able to effectively work within a team environment
Strong communication skill in verbal and writing with customer and internal business partner
Meet be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and be able to stand for long periods of time
