Performs a variety of duties to support administration of the assigned department(s). Provides administrative management of the medical education programs and provides support to the Designated Institutional Officer. Provides additional support for the Residency and Student Coordinators, Program Directors, Faculty, Interns, Residents and Medical Students as needed.
Minimum Education: Associate’s degree required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including week-ends and holidays to insure continuity of care and appropriateness of coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units.
Certifications: National Board Certification for Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) preferred
Minimum Work Experience: Five (5) year's office administration experience requiredTwo (2) of those years in a healthcare related setting requiredExperience in education, medical education or healthcare preferred
