General Labourer in Lethbridge at Arconic

Job Description

Arconic is currently in search of Seasonal General Labourers to join our team in Lethbridge.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Worker will be responsible for various tasks. This includes measuring, cutting, and fabrications as well as operating machines. All Production Workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of Production. The Production Worker will also be responsible for increasing productivity, working alongside fellow peers and creating a positive work environment.

Primary Responsibilities 
  • Be reliable, motivated, organized and be able to work in a dynamic fast-paced team-driven environment
  • Intrinsically motivated – drive comes from within
  • Ensure that adherence to all safety policies, procedures and practices
  • Be able to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs consistently for eight (8) hours
  • Be able to read tape measure
  • Be willing to work overtime when required
  • Must be able to work both independently & in a team setting
  • Have a commitment to quality and efficiency
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Good manual dexterity and hand eye coordination
  • Working with Power Tools and Machinery
  • Use of hand tools
  • Able to work any shift (there are 3 shifts)
Basic Qualifications 
  • Must possess good interpersonal and excellent communication skills
  • Possess the ability to understand and follow oral and written procedures
  • Must be a responsible & reliable individual
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English
