The Finance IT team supports operations and systems of the company related to recording and reporting company financials. This internship role will work along-side the FIT staff to support project and operational needs of the Business users. Qualified candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall term 2022.


  • Assist Project Managers to define project plans and tasks needed to implement changes; assist in the definition, analysis, testing and documentation for upgrades, replacements, or enhancements to various Athene financial systems applications
  • Assist in the daily operations and support of Athene financial system applications
  • Supports process changes in the course of doing business (onboarding transactions, fielding change requests from process owners)
  • Assists the team in the timely execution of daily, monthly, and quarterly close support activities
  • Perform necessary administrative functions such as metrics, communications, balance & controls, project reporting and updates

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent work experience
  • Prior training or experience in business analysis or financial analysis
  • Prior training or exposure to finance systems and business systems/process analysis
  • Experience gathering requirements, probing into problems, documenting specifications
  • Experience with Windows 10, MS Word, Excel; Optional: SQL, Access, Power Point, Business Objects,
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to accomplishing tasks
  • Previous internship experience preferred
