Job Description

Support Center - Irving

As a Facilities Operations Analyst you will be responsible for providing analytical support for projects and financial operations within the Real Estate and Facilities team. This will include providing analysis and insight into our Facilities past and future financial performance. You will guide our team in developing monthly financial forecasts, annual budgets, and 5-year strategic plans. This position will also help develop operational analysis on projects on actual results compared to forecast and budget.

  • Project management – manage project timelines, schedules and publish weekly reports
  • Manage and audit project invoicing against execution activity for approval by project manager
  • Maintain and create historic project reporting statistics
  • Manage project open issue process to ensure projects are closed out in a timely manner
  • Perform analysis of project to help leadership better understand opportunities and potential cost savings, report savings generated from projects
  • Perform project reconciliation to ensure all capital and expense accounts are accurate including payroll transfers and ensure all reclasses are complete
  • Spend management – prepare project budgets and forecasts and ensure accruals are processed in a timely manner
  • Publish monthly spend reports to department leadership
  • Develop trend reporting on major vendor partners on financial and service performance
  • Prepare analytics for RFP analysis to identify and support cost saving opportunities
  • Report on KPI’s including department and vendor partner performance and SLA’s
  • Develop tools to improve team utilization of financial and performance information including asset registers
  • Perform period ending financial closing tasks as needed
  • Create and maintain various reports and perform analytical needs the department has, as well as support the closing process
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills

  • High level financial acumen
  • Advanced Excel skills

Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires

  • 1 to 3 years in a Financial Analyst role

  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external business partners to ensure that timelines, schedules, financial targets are met and are in alignment with company objectives.
