Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Dispatch Agent - Luxury Transportation Services is the support the resort's transportation service through scheduling chauffeured rides, ensuring safe and timely transport of guests to various locations within the resort and nearby attractions.

All duties are to be performed in accordance The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch drivers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of guests, luggage, and packages.
  • Maintain communication with drivers throughout their shift, providing necessary updates and information.
  • Coordinate with the Resort Services, Casino Marketing, VIP, Paiza, Butlers, Group Services, and Executive Administration departments to ensure smooth transportation operations.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the resort's transportation routes, parking areas, and other related information.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and vehicle maintenance.
  • Handle guest questions, complaints, and concerns related to transportation services, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement transportation policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.

  • Ensure that all clients receive a high level of privacy, discretion, and professionalism throughout their transportation experience.
  • Promote guest/client loyalty by building strong and lasting relationships with new and repeat customers.
  • Promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy. 
  • 2 years of experience within the hospitality industry required with preference in dispatching or related field.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Driver's License and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy. 
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Working Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the transportation industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Exceptional safety record and knowledge of defensive driving techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner.
  • Must be able to address stressful situations with clients and guests with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access to all areas of the property and drive areas, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability to, for prolonged periods of time, sit, walk, stand, and to frequently stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, LED lights, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke
