Denied Party Screening Specialist (DPS) in Barcelona at TD SYNNEX

Job Description

Responsible for screening potential or existing business partners, customers, suppliers, and any other entities as per TD SYNNEX policies and regulations though various organizations and in various systems, to provide appropriate feedback to managers and to find effective way of communication with sales and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Support Regulatory Compliance team

• Responsible for the screening on names/addresses against Denied Party lists as directed by TD SYNNEX Regulatory Compliance policies-regulations.

• Decision making and recording evidence.

• Escalation to managers when appropriate

• Following procedures as per SOP\u00B4s in place.

• ECCN classification

• Deal with relevant compliance related correspondence, in a timely and compliant way.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Entry Level (0 to 1 Years of relevant work experience)

• Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.

• Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.

• Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others.

(E) = Essential (D) = Desirable

• Basic knowledge of EU import-export Customs Regulations. (D)

• Knowledge of EU and US classification and export control of products containing encryption and export license processing. (D)

• Experience / knowledge of international trade. (D)

• Effective communications skills. (E)

• Great teamwork.(E)

• Enquiring mind and critical analysyis. (E)

• Good standard of education. University degree is an advantage.

• Effectively speak and write in English and local language; ability in other European languages would be an advantage

• Relevant experience working in compliance, international trade.

• Should possess good computer-related skills including MS Office, bussiness intelligence or SAP Analysis is an advantage.

• Relevant previous work experience is desirable but not essential

Working Conditions:

• Home office 80%

• Monday to Friday, working hours include early morning and late evening shifts,\u00A0 some weekend work may be required same as late night cover.

• Required to work on public holidays

• Temporary Contract (12 months)
