Position Summary:
The CT Supervisor assumes responsibility for the daily operations of the CT Department and performs imaging procedures (general diagnostic, fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, operating room and portable exams). Will actively function in CT and any of the following modalities in addition to general radiography (Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, or MRI). Daily operational activities include but are not limited to: functioning as systems super user, monitoring productivity and assisting with time keeping (Kronos), charging and charge reconciliation, quality control and performance improvement, and student supervision.
Required Education:
Associate degree is preferred
Required Certification:
ARRT Certification in Radiography – Required
ARRT Certification in CT or meets JC Diagnostic Imaging Standards and NC Regulations 10A NCAC 15.0611 – CT Regulations Required
Meets Certification Requirements for other modalities as required by regulatory agencies
American Heart Association BLS – Required
ARRT Advanced Certification in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB Certification – Required if Nuclear Medicine is additional modality
American Heart Association BLS is required
